Art of Tröegs CONTEST (3/5/18-4/29/18)
It’s your turn to get in on the art. Our annual Art of Tröegs Contest has been happening for more than a decade now, and each year, it gets bigger and better.
The challenge is simple: Create a piece of art inspired by Tröegs. It can be flat. It can be 3-dimensional. It can be a sculpture or a song. It can be anything you dream up, as long as it has a Tröegs twist.
The winner will get $500 and be the star of the Art of Tröegs Gallery above the Splinter Cellar of our Hershey brewery!
Last year, we were wowed by a Renaissance-style portrait of our founding brothers painted by Marni Manning, who enjoyed red-carpet treatment at our 2017 Gallery Opening in July. In addition to a meet-and-greet with several of the artists who submitted pieces this year, we also gave guests a sneak peek at our upcoming batch of Wild Elf. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2018!
Our panel of judges will choose their favorite piece. If you are selected as our winner, you will get:
- $500 cash prize
- Third-annual Art of Tröegs Gallery opening party held in your honor
- One night’s accommodations for you and a few friends (two rooms)
- Bragging rights for life!
Two runners-up will receive a cash prize, an invitation to the gallery opening party and a one-night hotel stay.
Submissions will be judged on the following criteria:
- 25% – Creative use of Tröegs artwork
- 25% – Concept/Story
- 25% – Craftsmanship
- 25% – General Awesomeness!
Submissions will be accepted by mail, online and in person. Mail-in submissions can be sent to Tröegs Independent Brewing, Attn: Art of Tröegs, 200 E. Hershey Park Drive, Hershey, PA 17033. In-person submissions can be delivered to our General Store during regular business hours. Digital submissions or photos of finished work can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. All submissions for this year’s contest are due by April 29, 2018, and MUST include your name, address, email and phone number. Seriously. While we love getting random pieces of amazing artwork, it’s a total bummer if we don’t know who did it.
