We like to think of our little corner of the brewing world as the “wayward home for the perpetually curious."
It’s no accident that “independent” is our middle name. Being independent means we’re able to push our own boundaries, have a little fun and focus on the long-term health of the brewery. We don’t have anyone to answer to other than our customers and our co-workers, and that means we can do what’s right for you and what’s right for our beer.
We’ve been at this for 24 years … and it’s only the beginning.
Tröegs has grown from two brothers to about 250 co-workers. We’ve loved every win, every challenge and every beer along the way.
Whether we’re working on a new beer recipe, building a seasonal menu, or deciding how to serve our community, the first question we ask is: Why? When it comes to ‘aletruism,’ asking why helps us focus our priorities and the ways in which we serve the people, places and resources who’ve helped us along the way.
The drive to create is behind everything we do here at Tröegs. And for as long as we can remember, Tröegs fans who share that creative spirit have been making art with our bottle caps, labels and cans. And many Art of Tröegs alum are behind the signs, murals and beer labels you know and love.
Tröegs Independent Brewing was founded in 1996 by brothers Chris and John Trogner. From the beginning, our brewery has been built by family, friends and kindred spirits who share a love of great beer.
