The Art of Tröegs
The drive to create is behind everything we do here at Tröegs: our small-batch Scratch Beer series, the seasonal Snack Bar, the collaborations we do and trips we take. And for as long as we can remember, the Tröegs fans who share that creative spirit have been making art with our bottle caps, labels and cans.
We like people who make things, which is why we love the annual Art of Tröegs contest. Each year, as the contest draws to a close, it feels like Christmas as amazing works of beer-inspired art arrive one after another at the brewery.
Over the years, we’ve gotten a video game, a Smurfy miniature of our Hershey brewery, a multi-tiered cake, a hand-embroidered jean jacket, custom Tröegs sneakers and just about everything in between.
Our very favorite part of the contest is the gallery opening, where we get to meet our creative fans … and often hatch ideas for even bigger projects down the road!
In the past, Art of Tröegs artists have crafted signs for our brewery, reimagined the iconic Nugget Nectar First Squeeze, and even designed beer labels.
THIS YEAR’S CONTEST
Eligible entrants can get in on the Art of Tröegs Contest by creating an original work of art (painting, photography, illustration, digital design, drawing, mixed media, crafts, sculpture, collage, jewelry, metalwork, carving, mosaic, stained glass, etc.) that is inspired by Tröegs artwork. And don’t forget to tell us a little story about your piece, too. For digital reference pieces of our beer artwork visit our logo library.
Our panel of judges will choose their favorite piece. Submissions are due by June 10th, 2024. The contest winner will receive:
- A limited-release Scratch beer label will be created in honor of the winner’s artwork
- $500 pre-loaded VISA gift card
- Eighth-annual Art of Tröegs Gallery opening party held in your honor
- One night’s accommodations for you and a few friends (two rooms)
- Bragging rights for life!
Two runners-up will receive a cash prize.

25% – Creative use of Tröegs artwork
25% – Concept/Story
25% – Craftsmanship
25% – General Awesomeness!
Submission guidelines
Entrants must be 21 years of age or older and live within Tröegs distribution area.
All artwork for this year’s contest is due by June 10th, 2024. Submissions will only be accepted digitally. No Generative AI submissions will be accepted.
