Here’s a sneak peek of our collaboration for the 2025 Barrel & Flow Fest in Pittsburgh. We’ve teamed up with Soul Mega in D.C. and Zeroday in Harrisburg to put a spin on the classic Altbier. Featuring the hallmark light red hue and moderate bitterness, the twist comes with Mosaic and Galaxy hops added later in the boil. The result lends notes of sweet citrus and stone fruit to the dry-finishing ale. We’re softening the experience by serving this R&D batch on our Lukr faucet. Look for a version of this beer coming in early August during America’s first Black brew festival.

Let the fireworks commence with Scratch #533, a classic all-American IPA. Starting with waves of grain, we combine pilsner and Vienna malts with wheat to lay the foundation. But the shining star of this beer is the Mosaic hop. This multi-faceted American variety is brimming with notes of bright citrus and vibrant tropical fruit. Just like the “Stars and Stripes,” this IPA is colorful, emblematic and truly a work of art. It also happens to be delicious, too. Available on draft and in limited 16-oz. cans… only at Tröegs! 

Our Scratch Cocktails are an exploration of blending high-quality spirits with the right ingredients and flavors for ready-to-drink fun in a can. Bold and sweet, our Tropical Punch with vodka is made with real pineapple, passionfruit, orange, and guava juices for a full flavor experience!
