Van de Hoorn (Dutch for “from the horn”) starts just like Troegenator – with chocolate, Munich and Pilsner malts. The twist comes in fermentation. Rather than using ‘Nator’s lager yeast, we pitch Mad Elf’s spicy Belgian yeast, giving Van de Hoorn hints of cinnamon, clove and allspice.
