This current chilly weather has us craving a dark, robust stout. Six different malt varieties combine with oats to impart roasty notes and a full-bodied mouthfeel. The addition of milk sugar provides a splash of creamy sweetness. But the star of the show is locally roasted coffee grounds from our friends from Little Amps. We aged this supple stout on 1 lb. per barrel of Dark Star grounds to coax invigorating notes of rich dark chocolate and toasted nuts.
