This limited collaboration is what happens when brewers, bakers, pastry chefs and maltsters are brought together through a shared love of grain. Golden Spelt Lager starts with locally grown and malted spelt, an ancient whole grain with a rich, nutty flavor. Eighty crusty and subtly complex Spelt baguettes went right into the mash, and very light hopping with Centennial and El Dorado adds notes of lemon and soft pear.
