The American Pale Ale has long been recognized for its distinct caramel malt note. With Scratch #347, our brewers have been tinkering with a malt bill to enhance the mouthfeel, soften the texture, and coax out hints of raw honeycomb, flaky biscuits, and toasted grains while eliminating the caramel sweetness of a traditional pale ale. Dry-hopping with Comet brings out aromas of tropical fruit and citrus zest, while the combination of Citra and El Dorado deliver a surge of candied orange, ripe mango, and grapefruit.

We taste: candied orange, tropical fruit salad, touch of honey
