Back in early September, we collaborated on two new beers with Jimmy Valm and the team behind Thompson Island Brewing Co. in Rehoboth, DE, to celebrate its grand opening. First up is an open-fermented Helles inspired by Valm’s trip to Germany to see Thompson’s new brewhouse (and his immediate love for our open fermenters). Pale and straw-colored, this delicate German Lager has notes of honey, wildflowers and fresh baked biscuits.

We taste: fresh baked biscuits, lemon peel, flowering herbs, hint of honey
