Scratch #531 Nitro Cream Ale is the latest release in our Brewers’ Choice series. “There aren’t many examples of this style out there,” says brewer Karl Herzig. “I really enjoy the mouthfeel of a cream ale while still being very drinkable, and pouring on nitro will just enhance that.” This R&D–sized batch is brewed with pilsner malt and flaked corn at a low mash temperature leading to a dry finish. Light-bodied yet full of character, this easy-drinking ale is clean and exceptionally smooth.
