With Scratch #416, we’re experimenting with highly concentrated cryo hops. Cryo hops are whole-cone hops that have been frozen with liquid nitrogen, then shattered to separate the lupulin and the vegetal matter, resulting in a hop pellet with a nearly twice the typical resin content. We dry-hopped this double IPA with cryo Simcoe and Citra, delivering soft and clean notes of citrus, wildflower and juicy peach.
