We’re zeroing in on another Double IPA, and a slight tweak to our recent small Scratch batches has helped us boost the tropical profile. Scratch #418 starts with a hazy base of pilsner malt, malted and unmalted wheat, and Vienna malt. The hop bill includes Citra, Simcoe and Sabro, and the addition of Sultana pulls in more tropical pineapple notes. London 3 yeast amplifies the fruity profile and helps uphold the haze from the grain.
