DIPA (DDH w/ Chinook, Simcoe & Vic Secret)
- Scratch Series:
- Oats, Rustic Pale, Wheat
- Chinook, Simcoe, Vic Secret
- House Ale
Our Scratch brewing team’s goal with today’s three releases was to brew beers that are soft in body and bitterness, allowing us to load up on clean, clear hop flavors and aromas. The malt composition of these beers is similar, with a backbone of rustic pale from right here in central Pennsylvania. The big difference comes in the flavors and aromas the dry-hop combinations are producing. Scratch #341 is a double IPA double dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Chinook and Simcoe. It’s berry, honeydew and peach notes are also seasoned with a little citrus. For the geeks out there, watch for next steps using different yeasts and grains to push the body and the fruitiness.
We taste: berry, honeydew, peach, touch of citrus
Availability: draft & growler fills only.
