This beer is for mountain bikers with a vision. A vision to transform a former coal town into a mountain biking mecca. German pilsner malt and red wheat set up a crisp backbone. A kölsch yeast contributes fruity esters. And dry-hopping with Huell Melon and Citra layer in soft and subtle notes of bright berry and orange rind. The money raised by Scratch #439 is going to the Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association. SAMBA is developing 30 miles of new trails in Lykens, PA, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a post-ride Crispy Kolsch.
