We’ve been digging on our recent American IPA trials, and Scratch #518 should be more of the same. This beer builds on #515 and a few classic “C” hop varieties. Chinook joins El Dorado on the hot side of brewing, while Citra, CTZ and more Chinook fill the dry hopping on the cold side. With notes of sticky citrus, dank pine and tropical fruit, it’s dry with just enough bitterness for a West Coast style ale.
