For four years now we’ve teamed up with our 717 friends at Pizza Boy and Appalachian Brewing Companies to collaborate on a special brew for Harrisburg Beer Week. Zeroday Brewing Company joined the team this year, and the newest 717 Collaboration was inspired by their Brewmaster Theo’s Appalachian Trail journey. This year’s beer – an Extra Cream Ale brewed with cherries and vanilla – boasts a tart, sour cherry flavor balanced by a hint of vanilla bean. Huell Melon hops contribute layered flavor notes of grass, watermelon, and raspberry. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the beer will benefit Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services, the beneficiary of Harrisburg Beer Week.
