Position: Quality Control Lab Technician
Job Classification: Full-Time, Year-Round
Reports to: Production Manager
Pay Rate: Hourly based on experience
Benefits: Health Insurance, Paid Vacation
Tröegs Quality Control Lab Technician performs microbiological and chemical analysis of the brewing and packaging processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a quality department in a food manufacturing, brewing, or processing environment. The Quality Lab tests include but are not limited to: TASTE, product and raw material analysis (eg. hops, water, malt), yeast assessment and propagation, as well as microbiological beer spoiler analysis. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and safety practices of Tröegs Brewing Company.

Physical Requirements
- Able to climb and move ladders up to 20 feet
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Able to lift and control large liquid containers in a lab setting
- Able to work in constantly changing temperatures
- Able to get to work on time with a flexible schedule
- Able lift kegs and cases of beer
Work Schedule
- 40 hour work week with occasional overtime. Some evenings and weekends required.

Position: Maintenance Technician
Job Classification: Full-Time, Year-Round
Reports to: Reports to Plant Maintenance Manager
Pay Rate: Hourly based on experience

The maintenance technician will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. Primary tasks include troubleshooting issues, repairing failures of all production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and safety practices of Tröegs Brewing Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment in all areas of the facility, including brewhouse, cellar operations, and bottling.
- Follow a preventive maintenance program, change oil in gearboxes, lubricate and do visual inspections on all equipment.
- Repair or replace motor starters, contactors, push buttons, sensors and circuit breakers as needed.
- Have an understanding of plumbing principles.
- Able to operate a wide range of power and hand tools. Including grinders, drill presses, saws, welders and other metal and wood working equipment.
- Have a working knowledge of basic computer programs—Excel, Word, Email.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and forklifts.
- The Maintenance Technician must supply own hand tools. All power tools are company-supplied.
- All other duties as required.
Experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- PLC experience, Siemens, Allen Bradley is preferred.
- At least 3 years experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and basic electrical repair.
- Ability to write detailed repair reports and have good verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 55 pounds
- Able to climb and move ladders up to 40 feet.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
